1000 comments

I currently have 999 comments on Slashdot. This sounds like a lot, but they were over a span of 4+ years. My first was on my birthday, oddly enough, in 2000. Here’s part of it:

I think what’s more at stake here (and what’s more saddening) is not some "threat" to journalistic integrity due to the digital revolution, but more how much corporate folks love to whine for the microphones. It’s like a preschool playground, and Dan wouldn’t play fair.

The latest one is a bit less overwrought:

Since I hate in movies when someone pulls a gun and shoots a screen which magically destroys all the data on the computer. Unless of course it’s a first edition iMac. :)

Now, I am by no means anywhere near Comment God. (Hell, FortKnox just hit 5400. Here’s his first time.) Nor have I been around since The Beginning.
