Dreams. Salsa. Walks. Poodles. Missing writing.
Boy the time sure flew this morning. Had a ton of intense dreams, or at least vivid, last night, broken up by several trips to the bathroom. That’ll teach me to drink a bunch of water before going to bed. :)
Lessee… I’m going to be making Denyse’s salsa today for the first time, for the dinner party we’re going to tonight, for a friend’s birthday. It’ll also be Pharaoh’s first visit to someone else’s house, where he’ll meet Martie, their standard poodle. Hopefully they’ll get along well. So anyhow, I’ll be toddling down to the grocery store in a bit for some ingredients (and getting a walk in at the same time), then a few little other things today, nothing too tremendously intense. I’m hoping to get some notes made on my new novel planning.
The salsa came out pretty dang good, if I do say so myself. Managed to get two walks in today, one to the grocery store by myself and the other with Pharaoh of nearly an hour, so about 1 1/2 hours of walking today.
Last night I wrote quite a bit about blogging and my thoughts on doing it.
I realized earlier today, whilst thinking about the novel planning process, that I was very much missing the act of writing a story, something I recaptured last year during the NaNoWriMo event. What this tells me is that I shouldn’t over-plan this new book, but rather get down what needs getting down beforehand (and nothing more) and start writing.
