Word. Why vi or Emacs? New Hot Chick movie. Brett Hull retiring.
Forwarded from Hans, the only copy of Word I would probably consider using:

Word.
Why vi or Emacs? by Sean Reifschneider, which is in response to Why Emacs and Vim? by Mark Williamson
Love this quote from Sean:
Part of the reason I don’t like the GUIs is because they don’t integrate well. There’s an editor in Thunderbird, but it’s nothing as capable as vim or Emacs. Plus, vim comes up in my terminal window, not in some new window that may come up in another window, which I may have to mouse to or from.
New on Netflix this week: Hot Chick Hot Rod Stoner BBQ
It’s finger-lickin’ good, y’all! Fire up the grill for a second round of hot chicks and good times, courtesy of this aptly named collection of heavy metal music, barbecue footage and — that’s right — award-winning recipes. Featured bands include Drunk Horse, Parchman Farm, the Suplecs, High on Fire and Trans Am, as well as videos from Alabama Thunderpussy, Fatso Jetson, Dirty Power, Hightower, Las Ultrasonicas and Totimoshi.
Now who could resist that? ;D
Holy crap! Brett Hull announces his retirement
The third all-time scorer in NHL history, Hull first discussed retiring with Coyotes head coach Wayne Gretzky and GM Mike Barnett after Thursday night’s 5-4 loss to the Nashville Predators, according to the Canadian Press…. With one assist in five games this season, Hull decided that enough was enough and told Barnett and Gretzky Saturday morning that he wanted to walk away from the game.
