Exactly one year ago to the day, I posted about the 2005 World Series being set -- the Chicago White Sox vs the Houston Astros. Tonight, the second half of the 2006 matchup was finally determined. Game 1 of the 2006 World Series starts Saturday, with the St. Louis Cardinals vs the Detroit Tigers. If the current voting is any indication, it'll be the Tigers winning, but if anything can be said to be certain in the playoffs, it's that nothing is certain.
