So what’s the worst that can happen?
The worst is having zero words to show for an “effort” at the end of the month. Okay, that would suck, but on the spectrum of Bad Things That Happen To People, it doesn’t even register.
Next worst is having written a number of words w where 0 < w > 50,000 on a novel that needs jumpstarting. That’d be okay, I suppose.
Next worst is w >= 50,000. And that would be pretty damn cool.
