Day 13
Submitted by Robert Daeley on Sun, 2004-11-14 01:20.
Past the halfway point today, which is both pleasing and something of a relief, since it means I’m around the daily average I wanted to be. Even a little faster would be okay by me, since I really don’t want to be writing to catch up to 50K on the 30th.
Tonight, the story took an unexpected turn. That’s happened quite a bit this month, which is partly to do with the intensity of the effort, but is also just inherent to the writing process. These characters begin to take on a life of their own.
Had the bittersweet pleasure earlier of needing to stop writing to get ready for cards night. I was in the middle of one of a character’s most important emotional and plot moments and really wanted to find out what happens next. :)
