Though you advise us against false dichotomies, this chart is based on two of them. Consider some other scenarios:
What if you succeed in convincing our leaders to remove all our freedom and cash in some hare-brained scheme that backfires and causes the catastrophies you falsely limit to the lower right of your chart?
What if our leaders remove all our freedom and cash, then waste it in typical bureaucratic fashion?
What if, despite politics and economics, your grand scheme to “save the planet” (tm) is implemented in full and without flaw, but still has no effect whatsoever.
What if you and the cult of Gaia have extrapolated from globally-incomplete and time-limited data all these global warming nightmare scenarios, and ignored other data (such as Milankovitch cycles) which renders any human intervention irrelevant?
What if those global ice age scaremongers of the 1970s were right? What if they had been given power to “save the planet” (tm) just like you greenies are screaming for now?
What if this whole global warming / global cooling / climate change hysteria is just a gigantic hoax perpetrated by totalitarian-minded powermongers (like Al Gore). Shouldn’t we “get the word out” about that?
