Next time you starting wishing your favorite team's horrible owners would "disappear" for reals, thank your lucky stars you aren't among the fans of Manchester City. Their ownership makes the owners of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (for example) look like your favorite babysitters from childhood.
Of course, he's spending money, which puts him one up on the Devil Rays.

Thaksin Shinawatra is known to football fans as the guy who bought Manchester City earlier this year and who has opened his extensive wallet to lure Sven-Goran Eriksson and a bunch of new players. In the non-football world, he is known as the guy who used to be the prime minister of Thailand until he was overthrown in a peaceful military coup last September.
These two worlds might collide if Shinawatra is forced to go back to Thailand where he is charged with corruption. This could lead to him having to relinquish his assets in the UK, including his shares of Manchester City.
Cheating
The one thing that bothers me the most about cheating is the fact that the accused always seem to deny it and then proof emerges and their good names are even more tainted. 4 example bonds, rafael palmero, and roger clemens have all denied steroid use. Then some sought of proof emerges and the come from hall of fame to hall of shame. BEING HYPOCRATES ruins peoples names more than the cheating itself. I am a big red sox fan, and the other day i was in an argument with my cousin and he got me thinking. Curt Schilling seems to be an anti steroid spokesman. Ortiz looks like he is 270 pounds of muscle. Manny looks alot different than he looked when the sox got him from the indians. Dustin pedroia is 5'8" and 170 pounds but he can hammer the ball. TOM BRADY MY BIGGEST HERO. Go on to google and search for Tom Bradys combine photos. He ran the 40 yard dash slower than alot of lineman. He looked like he doesn't even know what a bench press means. Nowadays even if he is hurt, he is on magazines with his shirt off. Could it be? All great athletes are on steroids? May be the whole steroid thing is in all sports.
