Drupal migration status

Things are proceeding well with migrating the site to Drupal. I’ve gotten all of the atemporal articles transferred, which means a majority of the content. What’s still missing are the date-based entries.
What I may do in order to speed up the process is go ahead and perform the initial installation, but leave the dated entries in place on the server. Then I can integrate those into Drupal at my leisure.
