My mother swears by frozen fish. I was unconvinced, and decided to put her statements to the test: could flash-frozen fish taste as good as fresh local fish from the Greenmarket or even fresh fish from a local supermarket?

This sort of info is good to know for its own sake, though especially if you’re interested in following a Mediterranean diet and don’t live next to an ocean. :) Even if Meg’s experiment didn’t go completely as planned, it’s worthwhile conducting your own tests — not to mention the pleasure of the unexpected conclusion she reached.
