Jeez-us, what a day in the world of sports.
Floyd Landis, Tour de France winner, tested positive for heightened levels of testosterone during the race. A confirmation test has yet to be completed, and Landis has denied everything — but no matter what, things look grim at the moment.
Real Madrid continues to amass strikers, grabbing Ruud van Nistelrooy from Manchester.
The MLB trading deadline is fast approaching with rumors flying like, well, Alfonso Soriano homeruns. Meanwhile, the Dodgers apparently decided to wear the tiki idol necklace when they go surfing, continuing their worst losing streak since 1944. Oh, and one of their prospects got arrested for burglary…of stuff from fellow players. Yay!
Don’t forget Thomas Jones, the Chicago Bear who got injured during a physical.
