Apparently the Mets needed to restore the number of former Dodgers on their roster after the crazy injury and loss of Duaner Sanchez at the trading deadline. Last night they claimed Ricky Ledee off waivers.

With Ledee leaving and Elmer Dessens going on the 15-day DL, that opens up two spots on the roster for Jeff Kent (who returned with authority in last night’s game) and Nomar, who will likely be back tomorrow.

And the winning streak goes on…
