The Killers

An incident that sums up my feelings about The Killers…

Recently my friend Tom and I were IMing about the “Jacques Lu Cont’s Thin White Duke Mix” of The Killers’ song “Mr Brightside,” available via iTunes. Great song and a great remix. Here was the end of the conversation:

(09:52:13) RD: Funny coincidence: The Kinks “Come Dancing” from 1983 came on next. Did not seem out of place AT ALL. :)

(09:53:20) RD: Okay, now I don’t have to resist the iTunes store today…

(09:54:13) RD: Hey, there’s this new movie called Ferris Bueller’s Vacation or something — looks funny

Which is to say that I love the song and the album. :)
