Despite the heretical “May 4th” challenge to my May 25th as Star Wars Day declaration, I am forging ahead with plans. Of course, with anything this momentous, there are logistical issues to work out. Such as: how do you cram six long movies into a single day?
Below is one possible schedule, assuming you start at 8 in the morning and keep 15 minutes between each movie. Naturally, there will be pause-breaks for various reasons — like acknowledging “Han Shot First” with a moment of silence. ;)
Also, there’s nothing to say the movies have to be seen before midnight (especially on a Friday like this one).
The actual length of each episode (assuming special editions of IV-VI, which are slightly longer) is based on information from IMDB:
| Time | Episode | mins | length |
| 08:00 | I: The Phantom Menace | 133 | 2 hrs 13 min |
| 10:30 | II: Attack of the Clones | 142 | 2 hrs 22 min |
| 13:15 | III: Revenge of the Sith | 140 | 2 hrs 20 min |
| 16:00 | IV: A New Hope | 125 | 2 hrs 5 min |
| 18:15 | V: The Empire Strikes Back | 127 | 2 hrs 7 min |
| 20:30 | VI: Return of the Jedi | 135 | 2 hrs 15 min |
